Aso Latif Aziz is a professor of (Biology/Botany) at Garmian University. He obtained his undergraduate degree (2000) from Baghdad University/ College of Education. His master has been gained from the same university in (2002). His Ph.D. in Biology focused specifically on the (Effect of Foliar Application of Hydrogen Peroxide and Vitamin C on Growth and Yield of Two Cultivars of, "_Hordeum vulgare_ L." Planted in the Dry Farming Land"); obtained in 2016 from Baghdad University.   He has more than 20 publication at different high- ranked journals . He attained the scientific title (professor) by (2019). Also, participated in various defense (MA.and Ph.D) sessions. Moreover, to his attendance in many local and international workshops and conferences. Professor Aso was appointed in various scientific positions at KRG universities like: Head Biology Department /College of Education at Sulaimani University. Head of Scientific School of Education Faculty/ Garmian University. Also, he ran the office of Higher Education in College of Languages and Human Sciences for one year. After a while he became the vice-dean for the same college. Currently, he is the dean in College of Language and Human Sciences at Garmian University.
