
Handreen Adnan Ali earned a bachelor's degree from the College of Physical Education at the University of Baghdad in 2002. He later obtained a master's degree from the College of Physical Education at the University of Sulaimani in 2017, specializing in basketball. Handreen's coaching career began in 2005 when he served as the basketball coach for a club in Khanaqin, a position he held until 2010. He also worked as a teacher at the Institute of Physical Education in Khanaqin from 2008 to 2010. Following this, he took on the role of sports coach at the Khanaqin Youth Center from 2010 to 2014. In addition to these positions, he has been the coach of Khanaqin since 2011 and served as the Karamian basketball coach in 2013. In 2014, Handreen participated in a training course organized by the Iraqi Basketball Federation for youth age groups in Sulaymaniyah, which was conducted by Spanish coach Manuel. His extensive experience in coaching and teaching highlights his commitment to developing basketball in his community.
