Nigar holds a B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering from Koya University, Iraq (2009), and an M.Sc. degree in Information Technology from The University of Nottingham, UK (2012). She is currently advancing her academic qualifications as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Diyala, Iraq. Her professional trajectory is marked by a series of academic appointments. Since 2021, she has been serving as an assistant professor in the Information Technology Department at the College of Computer and Information Technology, University of Garmian. Prior to this, she held the position of Head of the Information Technology Department at the same institution from July 2021 until November 2022. Her academic experience is further enriched by her tenure as a lecturer at the University of Garmian, College of Engineering, from June 2014 to 2019 and as department coordinator from 2019 to 2021, and at Koya University, College of Engineering, Software Engineering Department, from January 2013 to June 2014. Nigar was also a pivotal member of the team responsible for administrating the Internet services at Koya University from October 2009 to February 2011, where she began her career as a junior Engineer. In the realm of scholarly contributions, Nigar has authored 15 articles published in various reputable local and international journals. Her research has been recognized and indexed by esteemed databases such as Web of Science, IEEE, Scopus, and Hindawi, among others. She is an active participant in the academic community, having taken roles as a keynote speaker, presenter, and member of organizing committees at numerous local and international conferences. Furthermore, Nigar has demonstrated leadership in academic discourse as a co-moderator for two series of the International Forum on Computing and Information Technology Trends, an annual event hosted by the University of Garmian. Her involvement extends to workshops, where she has been instrumental both as an organizer and a presenter. A noteworthy highlight of Nigar's academic activities includes her participation in DAAD-funded summer schools. In August 2023, she enhanced her research profile and international collaboration by attending a summer school at the university of Vechta in Germany, a testament to her engagement with global academic networks and her dedication to advancing her expertise, particularly in the domains of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Computer Security indicating her deep engagement with cutting-edge technology and its applications in modern computing environments.
