On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the University of Garmian held the final exams for its English language course on campus for the first time, with 359 participants taking part in a span of a week.

Previously, participants were required to travel to the University Sulaimani or Sulaimani Polytechnic University to sit for the exam. This development reflects the University of Garmian’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic services and improve accessibility for its learners.
