The directorate of Career Development Center (CDC) was established in 2015 at the University of Garmian. It is directly affiliated with the president’s office. The main objective of the CDC is to build a bridge between the marketplace and the university so that university students can have the opportunity to gain practical experience through summer internship programs at one of the institutions of the private sector that best suits their specialty. In addition, it is paving the way for university graduates to find jobs by offering them opportunities such as courses, seminars, and workshops on employability and transferable skills. The directorate of the Career Development Center at the University of Garmian consists of two divisions: the Coordination and Internship Division, and the College-Level Center Coordination Division.
According to the approved structure of the university, this directorate belongs to the president of the university.
