On Monday, August 17, 2026, University of Garmian President Prof. Dr. Aras Fariq Zainal presided over a graduation ceremony for participants of the university's 9th Pedagogy Course.

Attended by university leadership and the Dean of the College of Science, the event marked the completion of the training for 107 participants across various ministries. Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Mahmud, Director of the Center for Pedagogy and Academic Development, highlighted the reach of the program.

In his keynote address, Dr. Zainal congratulated the graduates, emphasizing that their certificates represent a commitment to academic excellence and responsibility toward the next generation. He noted that since 2019, the Pedagogy Center has trained 444 postgraduate degree holders in advanced teaching methodologies.
