As part of its strategic commitment to modernizing higher education and expanding graduate employability, the University of Garmian hosts a specialized two-week Training of Trainers (ToT) program on Entrepreneurship and Career Development, sponsored by the HAUKARI e.V. Organization. University President Prof. Dr. Aras Fariq Zainal conducted an official site visit to inspect the proceedings, review instructional progress, and engage directly with participating faculty members.

The intensive program brings together academic staff to prepare them for delivering the newly integrated "Career Development" and "Entrepreneurship" courses across academic departments in the upcoming academic year. A total of 52 educators are participating in the cohort, including 38 faculty members from the University of Garmian, 13 from Garmian Polytechnic University, and 1 representative from the HAUKARI e.V. Organization. The sessions are facilitated by certified trainers from both host institutions, combining theoretical frameworks with applied pedagogical exercises.

During his address to the participants, Prof. Dr. Aras Fariq Zainal highlighted the University’s ongoing efforts to align academic output with dynamic market demands. He underscored that embedding entrepreneurial mindsets and practical career skills directly into the undergraduate curriculum is essential for unlocking student potential, fostering local innovation, and elevating graduate competitiveness in the workforce.
