Under the auspices of the international development initiatives sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Asst. Lect. Pshtiwan Jabar, a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science within the College of Science, officially represented the University of Garmian at a specialized international seminar titled "Artificial Intelligence in Logistics and Transportation for Developing Countries."

The two-week academic fellowship, convened by the Guangxi International Business Vocational College from July 24 through August 6, 2026, gathered academic delegates and researchers representing eight sovereign nations. The specialized curriculum encompassed seven advanced seminars detailing artificial intelligence integration, autonomous robotics, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and China’s strategic paradigms for leveraging emerging technologies to drive economic development.

In addition to theoretical instruction, the program facilitated technical field study visits to seven leading technology and logistics infrastructure conglomerates across Beijing and Nanning. These site visits provided participants with empirical insights into automated supply chain methodologies, big data analytics, and global distribution operations.

During the academic proceedings, Asst. Lect. Pshtiwan Jabar engaged with program directors and institutional organizers to advocate for the expansion of bilateral academic exchanges and specialized professional development frameworks for University of Garmian faculty and students. At the formal closing ceremony, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China officially conferred certificates of scholarly completion upon the participating delegates.
