On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the Directorate of Health and Safety at the University of Garmian, in coordination with the Peshmerga Health Agency, organized a scientific workshop on First Aid for students of the College of Basic Education.

The session was attended by students and featured both theoretical and practical components. A professional team from the Peshmerga Health Agency—Kawa Ali, Hero Rashid, and Abbas Salar—led the workshop and provided comprehensive training on the essential procedures of first aid.

The workshop aimed to equip students with vital life-saving skills and raise awareness about emergency response techniques. It reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to student well-being and safety through educational and practical training initiatives.
