On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Professor Dr. Shwan Kamal Rashid, Chairman of the Kurdistan Board for Strategic and Scientific Research, visited the University of Garmian, where he was welcomed by the university’s president, Professor Dr. Arass F. Zainal.

During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to strengthen academic and scientific collaboration between the two institutions. They also explored opportunities for joint initiatives and projects addressing key societal issues.
