On Sunday, January 26, 2025, Amideast, in collaboration with the Career Development Center at Garmian University, organized a seminar for secondary and high school teachers. The seminar provided an overview of the Fulbright Program, including detailed guidance on the application process for this prestigious academic and educational exchange program in the United States.
The event was attended by academians and teachers.
Another segment of the seminar, which attracted participation from both university faculty and students, featured a representative from the U.S. Embassy in Iraq. They provided valuable insights into studying in the United States and outlined the necessary steps and procedures for initiating the application and enrollment process at American institutions.
The Fulbright Program for Secondary and High School Teachers is a six-week professional development opportunity. The U.S. Department of State fully funds all expenses related to travel, accommodation, and program participation.
The program is open to English-speaking teachers with at least three years of teaching experience.
