On Sunday afternoon, June 1, 2025, Ms. Sherry Graham Talabani, President of the Seed Organization, and an accompanying delegation visited the University of Garmian, where they were warmly received by Professor Dr. Arass Fariq Zainal, President of the University.

During the visit, a meeting was held attended by the Vice presidents, several deans, directors, and faculty members specializing in psychology, sociology, economics, and law. The discussions centered on developing collaborative projects and establishing a framework for cooperation between the University of Garmian and the Seed Organization.

Ms. Sherry Graham Talabani expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to visit the University and emphasized her organization’s commitment to working closely with the institution—particularly in areas related to student training in mental health, psychosocial support, and counseling. She highlighted the importance of equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for their personal and professional development.

Professor Dr. Arass F. Zainal reaffirmed the University’s dedication to engaging in joint scientific and academic activities that contribute to the advancement of students and society.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed by Ms. Sherry Graham Talabani and Professor Dr. Arass F. Zainal, marking a significant step toward collaboration between the University of Garmian and the Seed Organization.
