As part of ongoing collaboration and joint scientific initiatives between the University of Garmian and the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bologna, Italy, an international scientific course titled "Reading and Reviving Historical Images in Archaeological Science" was successfully conducted on May 14, 15, and 18, 2025.

The course was delivered by a specialized team from both the University of Bologna and the University of Turin. Over the span of more than 12 hours, participants engaged in a combination of theoretical and practical sessions. The training introduced several digital platforms and tools with significant applications in archaeological image analysis and restoration, including techniques such as CSV outcomes and YOLOv8 outcome analysis.

At the conclusion of the course, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed I. Khalil, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education at the University of Garmian, presented certificates and tokens of appreciation to the lecturers and participants in recognition of their contributions and active participation.
