The University of Garmian has officially received approval from the British Council to establish an IELTS registration center, marking a significant step toward becoming a recognized hub for international language certification.

This achievement follows several months of dedicated efforts by the Office of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, in coordination with the Directorate of International Academic Relations at the university.

As an initial phase, the British Council has authorized the university to serve as a registration center. Upon successful operation and evaluation of this stage, the university's Language Center is expected to receive final approval to host the IELTS examination on campus.

This initiative aims to expand academic opportunities for students and the broader community by facilitating easier access to globally recognized language testing.
