On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the Department of Sports and Artistic Activities at the University of Garmian, in collaboration with Life Private Hospital, organized a scientific workshop titled “First Aid for Sports Injuries and the Role of Natural Therapy.”

The workshop took place at the College of Basic Education, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students. Presentations were delivered by Karwan A. Karim, Sivan S. Faqe, and Komar M. Mohammed, focusing on essential first aid practices and the importance of physical therapy in treating sports-related injuries.

The event aimed to enhance student awareness of injury prevention and treatment, especially for those involved in sports and physical education.
