The University of Garmian has made significant progress in the 2025 Webometrics ranking, securing 7th place among public universities in the Kurdistan Region.

Compared to the July 2024 edition, the university has moved up from 4,113th to 4,061st in the global ranking, marking a notable improvement.

On this achievement, Professor Dr. Aras F. Zainal, President of the University of Garmian, congratulated the university’s faculty, staff, students, and the broader Garmian community, recognizing their dedication and hard work.
