On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the University of Garmian organized a significant academic event titled “Salahuddin Ayyubi: History and Legacy”. The event featured two scholarly panels with the participation of historians, researchers, and university faculty.
The first panel was moderated by Ali T. Latif and featured the following distinguished speakers:

The panels attracted a large audience, including faculty members, students, staff, and invited guests. The sessions were followed by a vibrant Q&A discussion with the panelists.
At the conclusion of the event, President Zainal presented awards of appreciation to the panelists in recognition of their scholarly contributions.
