According to the latest AD Scientific Index 2025, the University of Garmian ranks sixth among 15 public universities in the Kurdistan Region, tenth among all public and private universities in the region, and 25th among universities in Iraq.

Compared to last year’s rankings, the University of Garmian has advanced 106 positions globally, 61 positions in Asia, and three positions in Iraq, reflecting the university’s growing research impact within the global academic community.

On this occasion, the Presidency of the University of Garmian extends its congratulations to all researchers, academic staff, employees, and students of the university. The administration reaffirms its commitment to supporting and fostering an environment that enhances research excellence and academic development.
