In celebration of World Radio Day (February 13), the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Program Development at the University of Garmian organized a scientific workshop.

Held on February 12, 2025, in Sherwana Hall, the event brought together university faculty and students. Speakers included Assistant Professor Dr. Yadgar Ali Mohammed, Assistant Lecturer Hemn Mohammed Abdullah, and Azad Osman director of Dang Radio, who discussed Kurdish Radio in Jaffa, impact of technology on radio and the challenges facing radio in Garmian.
