To strengthen collaboration, the University of Garmian has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Vision Institute for Strategic Research.

On February 12, 2025, a delegation from the Vision Institute, led by Adnan Osman, visited the University of Garmian and was received by Professor Dr. Aras F. Zainal.

Both institutions signed the MoU to promote joint academic and scientific initiatives, including research, conferences, workshops, seminars, and professional development courses.

Founded by academics, journalists, and intellectuals, the Vision Institute serves as a think tank dedicated to fostering dialogue and research to support the prosperity of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
