On Monday, December 13, 2025, in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed K. Ibrahim, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, and Assistant Lecturer Chnur M. Fatah, Director of Career Development Center, two teams of students were awarded certificates of participation in a ceremony after participating in the "Global Solutions Conversations" program.

One of the teams, led by A.L. Ala O. Baba Rasul and consisting of nine students, partnered with another team of nine students led by Dr. Cynthia King. The other team was from Beaufort County Community College in Washington, DC.

The second team of ten students was led by Miss Hozan Hussein, along with a team of ten students from UNC Greensboro, North Carolina, supervised by Professor Sarah Gates.

The program is supervised by IREX to introduce students from both countries to each other's cultures.
