In the presence of several faculty members from Garmian University, a meeting was held on the development and expansion plan of Kalar district, under the slogan: "Kalar is the city of the future."

The Local Government Monitoring Unit of Garmian in collaboration with the German Cooperation Organization, met with several faculty members from Garmian University.

The meeting addressed the government's plan to expand and develop the city of Kalar, as well as the comments, suggestions, and criticisms from academics, activists, journalists, and engineers.

Additionally, discussed the shortcomings and problems related to this issue, such as the lack of a master plan.

The participants exchanged views on many issues related to the expansion of Kalar, municipal plans, and relevant agencies. All the suggestions and comments will be drafted as recommendations and directed to the responsible government officials for follow-up.
