Garmian University Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Delhi University

To strengthen scientific relations and further opening of Garmian University with Kurdistan universities and foreign universities, Garmian University signed a scientific Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Delhi, India.\r\n\r\nFollowing the continuous contact between the Directorate of International Academic Relations and Media of our university with the university, Garmian University signed a scientific agreement with the University of Delhi, India.\r\n\r\nThe key elements of the agreement include:\r\n\r\nFirst, scientific and information exchange in all fields that both universities work on.\r\n\r\nSecond, exchange of administrative and academic staff and conducting joint scientific research.\r\n\r\nThird: Scientific and academic exchange between the two universities at the level of teachers and students.\r\n\r\nFourth: Coordination and participation of both sides in holding joint scientific conferences and symposia and conducting joint research.\r\n\r\nFifth: Participation of students at both universities in short-term academic courses and conferences between the two universities.\r\n\r\nIt's worth noting that the MOU has a duration of five years, with special meetings scheduled every six months, either online or in person, to ensure the agreement’s contents are implemented. Both parties are obligated not to use each other's logos and names without mutual permission.\r\n\r\nThe University of Delhi\r\n\r\nUniversity of Delhi was formally established in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Council and is recognized as an Institute of Excellence (IOE) by the University Grants Commission (UGC).\r\n\r\nThe University of Delhi is a central university located in Delhi, India. The university has 16 faculties and 86 departments divided into north and south campuses, and colleges spread throughout the region. It has 91 constituent colleges.\r\n\r\nThe University of Delhi is one of the largest university systems in the world with more than 400,000 students in its campuses and affiliated colleges.
